This West. Dept. Of Health is LOUSY, despicable!!!! What good is it if you call after hours and they say as if there is some that anyone can talk to, ending up there's NO ONE!!!!! Our health is OUR CONCERN for our reasoning to call. So I expect a person to answer one of the extensions pressed, NOT a recording to leave message. And when you do call within their hours they are just as HORRIBLE, if not worse than that! Their not helpful in refuse to call them for mice infestation in my building.
I have been living with mice and no heat for over a year (negligent landlord and building department won't do anything/covering up) and reported several times to Westchester County Health Department for that long and they called to tell me (without even checking it out) that the Building Department must be right and will not even inspect the premises.
