Best wings in Colorado! Fantastic beer in a beautiful environment, too. Worth the drive from Denver.

RecommendedFantastic. I'm a celiac and they made sure to specially prepare my beverages and meal. Stop in here after a soaking the springs for a truly decadent experience.
I've been eating there for decades. I cannot agree with the other reviewers. I will not comment on the remodel, the bar or the beer but I will say that I am very disappointed with the food from new Buffalo restaurant. Where was the Buffalo in the menu? Only a burger, Reuben fritters and some chili. There used to be so much more. My family could hardly find something to eat and we went home hungry. After a 15 mile run on Loveland pass I decided to stop in and check out this new establishment in Idaho Springs. The flight I chose was excellent and the Buffalo red chili is amazing. I had to order the big canned beer. They even canned it in front of me! This place is worth stopping at when you are done skiing, cycling, running, spending time in the backcountry.
I like what they are trying to do. I think they almost have this place dialed in. Need some art work on the walls to liven up the place. Right now, very "sterile" looking. Perhaps that is what they are going for. It was something are party of four noticed. The beer...the most important thing, is very well done. Bump to 5 stars. Visit about once a month or so while I am in town. Place has steady progress to the point where I MUST visit during my short stays in the area.
Great service from Mike the waiter, even got to meet the GM (who is also awesome)and the head chef (just as awesome). Thanks for the lovely meal fella's, definitely coming back.
The beer and food is exceptional! Hands down the Best place to grab food and a beer coming up or down from the slopes!!
Had not been here since the remodel and it was one of our favorite places to go!!! Arrived today, excited that it was open again! The decor and ambiance are both warm and classy.... Elegant yet comfy... Food was to die for. Best fried chicken I've ever had!!! Great brews and great staff. Analisha was our server and she was awesome! The manage, Marvcel was attentive and friendly and willing to take any suggestions!! We will be back!!!!
