Stopped in here on our way to Leadville. This place is in a neat town (Idaho Springs) on a street with lots to explore. The aesthetic inside is very cool. The service was prompt and the waitress who took our order knew a lot about the beers on the menu. I really liked the Seven Sisters Stout. The food was pricey but worth it---big portions with great ingredients. The biscuit was my favorite!

The atmosphere of Westbound & Down , is inviting. The food was fast and flavorful and their in house cider delious.
We stopped at Westbound & Down after our rafting trip with our family of 7. We truly enjoyed the beer, food, and the service. My husband ordered the jalapeno buffalo bratwurst and I ordered the buffalo burger. Both entrees had amazing flavor. Our beer choices went really well with the flavor of our dishes. Being from the Chicago area, buffalo is not something that is ordinarily on a menu. It was a real treat to experience not only a burger, but the bratwurst also!
