On thanksgiving, my dog, a 20lb sheltie, crossed over into a neighbors yard and was attacked by a German shepherd. My dogs fault, I understand, however, when taking her to this clinic, there was only one major bite mark, so he cleaned it, put two staples in it, called it good. When I repeatedly told the entire staff she was thrown around like a rag doll, I knew there was more damage done than what he had remotely touched base on. We are so sorry your dog got attacked by another dog and ended up with a dog bite abscess, even though you sought emergency treatment with us the following day. I spoke to your primary veterinarian and she agreed that our emergency treatment met the standard of care. We flushed the open wounds, put a staple in one, sent antibiotics home for you to give and told you to followup with your primary veterinarian when she would be open again. Doctor Greg is very thorough and the staff has always been friendly and kind.
