Nice place to spend winter weekends. I think it is a bit too pricey this year though. It used to be much more affordable, especially for kids.

Sara, Spencer and the rest of the team are doing a tremendous job. The new guns, improved (new) lift and the bonus of a blanket of natural snow ensured the mountain was in great shape for the holiday week. It's not only shaping up to be a great season but the future of West has never looked brighter.

Great for kids/adults. We went tubing. The Adirondack chairs by the fire pit were a great place to sit-sun was shining and pleasant on 1/1/17. Kids (11-18) had a blast, but were tired after 1.5 hours. 2 hours is plenty. Great place to eat/get drinks. Homey feel. We had to wait in a long line to get tickets as ski and tubing were two separate ticket lines. We stood for 45 min. in line-was not ideal. They need two tubing ticket windows. Staff incredibly approachable and friendly.

I've been coming to West for over 20 years... just waited N 1.5 hours to get my first run in... waited 30 min for a Beer with only 5 ppl in the bar... waited 30 min for a Gatorade...poorly run these days...

I've been to a handful of ski areas in the last 6 yrs. Ine thing we appreciate as a family is to be acknowledged, and lets even go so far as to say appreciated. The lift operators seemed half dead and not even interested in their job let alone the customers. Took three runs before I got a your welcome. At one point I saw a kid fall off the lift at the top, then he almost got hit by rhe next group because the dude in the box was always looking DOWN at something instead of the chairs unloading. Awesome place to ski. Excellent snowmaking and grooming.
