I cannot say enough about Dr. Nix and her staff! My iLasik consult with Misty was fantastic - very informative and she was so helpful in terms of answering all of my questions. Dr. Nix is as professional as they come. I felt so at ease with the procedure after meeting with her. I had iLasik done in November and the procedure went as smoothly as I could have hoped for. I had an appt. at West Georgia Eye Care with Dr. Patrick Stow 3:00 pm on 3/21. I get there at 2:30 to complete the necessary forms. I completed the forms and sat patiently waiting for my name to be called. I noticed several other people coming in after me and going in to see the Doctor. It's now 3:25pm. Then I go to the receptionist and ask when will I see the Doctor. The young lady looked at me and said it will be another 30 mins before they see me. they never call you back after leaving messages, just transfer you to a number that no one answers! or return your request left on messages for a return call! #SAD
I was very nervous when I got there, not knowing what is to come. My appointment was at 9:45, one hour later I was seen. That was the only drawback. I saw Dr. Mayfield, very professional, explained everything. Had Retina tear, fixed it tight then and there. I feel very comfortable with him and will go back
