Ordered the wagyu manapua, wonton w/ chili sauce, and wonton soup. The manapua came out steaming but the inside was cold, same with the wontons. Felt like it was frozen then microwaved. Also had the pork shrimp fried rice, nothing special. Ordered the salmon, also not special. Prices were too high for the quality of food here. Nothing tasted bad, just not as good as expected with the price along with most of the food being served cold/warm. Our order came out to $104 I think, definitely not worth it.

Went for the first time, excited to see a dim sum option in Kapolei. However, the food was not good and I will not go back. The look funn was too thick and had some kind of weird texture. The pork hash had no flavor. The half moon wrapper was too thick and the minced pork was not chopped small enough. We also ordered the lotus sticky rice and some were not steamed through enough, the rice was dry causing the rice ball to fall apart. The spare ribs were tough and should have been steamed more. West Emperor Kapolei just opened 9/5/26. The atmosphere was clean and inviting. The presentation and food were exceptional. The pork hash was much tastier than most dim sum places. We had the dim sum pork hash, shrimp, mochi ball, char sui look fun and the wagyu chow fun. There’s more I would like to try and will definitely return. The service was friendly and pleasant.

Really glad to have a Dim Sum restaurant in Kapolei, however the automatic door opening to the outside seating area near the main entrance constantly blows wind into the restaurant, it would be great if they could utilize the back sliding door instead so that wind isn't blowing all over the food.
