The staff was helpful and polite. Facilities were clean. There were additional fees added by the suits that were not apparent until you decided to rent. They made you buy the cylindrical lock that could not be used elsewhere. There was an "administrative fee" of $30 or so and the so-called "insurance" that you had to buy for $15 a month that was simply an additional rent charge as they would not rent it to you without it. When I moved into my unit, I explained that I was moving because my previous storage place had been raising the rent too frequently. I specifically asked if that was a practice West Coast holds as well and was assured that it is not. Here I am, exactly FOUR MONTHS after moving into my unit and I receive a notice that my rent will be increasing from $54 to $99. FOUR! MONTHS! Absolutely ludicrous. Guess I’ll be spending that difference on a U-Haul to move right back out!

Staff that worked with me today was very helpful and was considerate about helping me find the right choice instead of making the wrong decision and having two separate storage units. Thank you Phoenix ‍
