West Bend Mutual is a top notch insurance company. Submitting a claim, even when my son had a car accident half way across the country, was quick and easy. Their customer service is absolutely wonderful!
Don’t let them fool you, at first they are great with everything then they stab you in the back and over load you with work. When they say they are a family company be careful!

Kerri was the representative I worked with and she was very helpful in working through our situation and was great at follow up with my concerns. We have been very satisfied with West Bend Mutual Insurance Company.
Their fine, as long as you don't file a claim. Prepare to defend yourself. A representative came to our home, in person. But didn't include some damage because I didn't SEND pictures. Still negotiating March 29th (2017) storm damage.

Claim was reported to West Bend September 15, 2017 with a date of loss of April 26, 2017. On September 22, the adjuster inspected the home with the complainant present. The complainant advised in addition to the damage with this roof, his fence had been damaged and repaired already. The adjuster asked the insured for photos of the damaged fence since it was repaired prior to the claim being reported.
Filed a claim. Adjustor didn't even go on roof. Said it was poor workmanship. Called his manager who refused to send a different adjustor.

We have received two claims from the complainant this year. The roof was inspected both times. On the first claim, we hired an independent contractor to inspect the roof and on the second claim, we had one of our property field representatives inspect the roof. During the second inspection, the complainant was present when the adjuster got on the roof. The complainant should contact his representative if he has additional questions. Thank you.
