We have been a customer of West Bend Mutual Insurance Company for about 30 years for our home, auto & umbrella insurance coverage. Their service and prices are very good. Over the years, we have had a few auto claims and just recently have had our first home claim. West Bend has been EXTREMELY good to work with. The adjusters and employees are very helpful, friendly, and very knowledgeable. They are also very fair in their claims process. We have never had a bad experience. I have been working with Claims Representative Sharon for a period over two years in the making. Sharon is extremely diligent in handling WC claims and treating the customer with respect. I know when I call in a claim that I am going to get first class treatment and that the claim will be handled with both the employee and the company held in high regard!

I recently worked with Chris *. for an accident involving my pathfinder. He was super helpful and bent over backwards helping us get this resolved quickly and efficiently. Very happy with the service and would recommend them to anyone.

I was rear ended by an individual who is covered by West Bend Mutual Insurance. This happened on February 14th, 2020, and I still have not received the settlement check as of 3/23/20. I had an estimate done on my car and they did not dispute it. However, they wanted me to take a bunch of pictures of the interior of the car and tires, etc. Isn't that the job of an appraiser/adjuster? I didn't hear anything for two weeks, then I was told something happened between appraisers?? Not sure what that meant. The latest was the check... read more

West Bend Mutual Insurance Company is totally inflexible. It does not listen to reason. In 2019 I purchased a new John Deere riding mower and a trailer to haul the mower. I was curious if my existing policy covered my new purchases so I called my agent. I did not authorize my agent to change my policy. West Bend added my new purchases and billed me $150/year for their coverage without my approval. Several letters were sent to them, but they refused to remove the above items or give me credit for insurance that I did not want... read more

++ If the person that does the damage has West Bend as their insured, you're going to be in for a long wait, with he said/she said++ Snow plow that plows the parking lot is insured by them. Did damage to my car in second week of December. Now three months later West Bend: "Well, that damage didn't happen from the plow." "So and so said that he didn't hit that." Fix the mirror that got busted off, but not the bumper. WB agent calls back to say, "we'll send you check for the scuff marks on the door and for the broken mirror." ... read more

Our Company partnered with West Bend 3 years ago, after being in business 25 years. We have been overwhelmed with the customer service. Recently had a work comp claim that was handled very professionally by Sharon. Sharon went above and beyond to keep us informed. Thank You West Bend. When we had an accident this year, I reported it within 24 hours. Months later, I was told no report was given from me. When it was reported again, I have not received ANY communication from the adjustor. I have now been cancelled, which is no surprise. Very disappointed in their service.
