Payne unit is a piece of junk and they sold it to me. – First of all let me say the this company installed a Trane system for me. Although it only lasted eight years they did a nice job on the install. After that unit bit the dust I bought a Payne outside unit (condenser) from them. After 1 year and nine months it developed a leak. They charged me $230.00 to find the problem which included a $150.00 for leak detection.
