They are thorough in assessing the prospective adopter and are extremely professional and sweet. I got my dog Champ from them over a year ago and he is the love of my life. I had appointments to meet two other dogs before him and they were great in helping me find the right dog for my needs and lifestyle. RecommendedMt Pleasant helps many dogs and cats get a second chance. The staff is truly dedicated. Your medical department goes above and beyond to save lives. They are golden. MPAS saves shelter pets, special needs animals, and owner surrenders. Their foster program is amazing. I am so grateful they gave Kennedy (now Norman) the cat a second, er third, chance at a forever home. Thank you for working around his behavioral issues.
RecommendedIt is an amazing Organization. The staff truly love the animals in their care. Donations are alway welcomed. Christine is an amazing director at the shelter. She alway makes you feel welcomed and appreciated. The animals are sweet and loving. I never want to leave.
