We have two MPAS dogs in our family. Patches, our female Australian Shepherd mix, we adopted as a puppy. She is now 13 years old, is healthy, and still has lots of energy. We adopted Jasper, a 2 1/2 year old lab/blue tick coon hound mix, in December 2016. Jasper easily became a loving and fun part of our family, friends with Patches and also our 10 year old cat PigPen. MPAS has a knowledgeable and caring staff who will help you find a dog or cat that will be a good match for you and yours. ADOPT!

Really an amazing place! Adopted Colleen from here right before Christmas. When we came in we didn't even have Colleen in mind until one of the staff members recommended her as a good family dog. The people there are really great at dogs to their forever homes!
I adopted my dog Chewy from there (formerly Bear) The Staff was amazing with helping me choose a pet that fit my household. We are going to go back to find a kitten for my daughter
My boyfriend and I adopted Abbie in July. She's the sweetest girl in the world. The shelter was amazing, they let us spend as much time as we wanted with her when we first visited. She's as sweet as they said she was. We couldn't be happier/luckier to have her come into our lives. Mt. Pleasant has the best furry friends!
