Incredible shelter, run by wonderful individuals who truly care about animals in need. So admire their ethic and the passion that the staff have for what they do.
For now, fostering for these folks. They truly care about each animal in their care, and mt family in particular feels honored to be helping out.
We adopted our shaggy do from mt. Pleasant about a week ago. Everyone was so helpful, friendly, and informative. Shaggy has made our house his home and has become the neighborhoods most friendly 4 legged gentleman :-) can't thank you all enough.
Went to visit them. I got a tour and they let me play with the cats in the different cat rooms. It is truly the cleanest animal shelter that I have been in. No smell whatever! The workers and volunteers adore the animals! Very professional staff yet make you feel at home. I also saw a dog having play or training time, (Couldn't tell which one because they were having so much fun.) in a fenced in grass section of the property. A great experience!
