Dr. Liu performed my upper eyelid surgery. So glad I had it done! :) I only wish i had it done sooner. I'm only on my third month and it takes 6 months to a year for the final results but so far so good. Since i only had one procedure done, my recovery was easier. I would say go for it!! not only i can see better, don't feel the heaviness of excess skin, i don't look tired or like i just got up and when i'm driving i can better see the traffic -lights above ;) To Dr. Liu and staff, I want to say Thank you.
Dr. Liu is attentive & does not ever make you feel as though you are being silly/superficial. She truly understands the importance of self-image and takes her art very seriously which as a surgeon is RARE. I am a nurse practitioner who has worked in surgery (both as surgical assist as well as outside of surgery) for the last 9 years and completely understand the profession/ players, which allows me the perspective to fully appreciate a good surgeon which she most definitely is! I research many doctors in Southern California. After comparing medical experience of the doctors researched, I went to Dr. Liu. My biggest concern with getting this surgery is that I would end up looking odd or fake. Dr. Liu’s approach to this surgery is to make a "refreshed" and youthful look without making drastic alterations. I cannot express how happy I am with this procedure. I suffered since birth from deep hollow under eye bags. The year troughs were just getting deeper as I aged and I needed to so something about it. I got restylane injections in my tear troughs and wow....no makeup needed!!!! I look younger, awake, my skin looks smoother and I feel so much more confident looking people in the eyes!
I had a great experience visiting Dr. Liu. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the new Eye Institute is an amazing building. Dr. Liu had a very pleasant manner and ensured she explained everything. I visited for a blepharoplasty and couldn't be happier with the result. I would recommend Wenjing for sure.
