Give Wendy's Bridal a Chance! I recently visted Wendy's Bridal on a Saturday. I wasn't greeted when I went in, but I looked around for awhile and picked out dresses. I met the wonderful assistant manager and she helped me through the entire process of finding a bridal dress. She helped carry the dresses, remove them from the fitting room and clip my dresses together when they were too big. I also bought my veil and another dress for the reception from Wendy's as well. Initial Visit I went into the shop on a very busy Friday (around the lunch hour). I was immediately greeted, and even though there were several other customers in the store, I was give about five minutes to explain what I was looking for. They gave me three catalogs, and offered a nearby table to look through the books to decide what I want to look at. Dirty I was greeted, enjoyed the dress selection, but many of the dresses I tried on had dead bugs in the netting. It was disgusting. I was pushed to try things on. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience.

New Ownership The business was purchased by another local business man on August 1, 2007. There have already been several changes to the store. They have ordered over 80 new styles of bridal gowns that should be there in mid December.

Not Even a Hello I went into Wendy's looking for an evening gown for an upcoming event I had to attend...Had heard they had the best selection of prom and evening wear so went to look..Was there for about 20 minutes looking at gowns and decided, they must be too busy to come to me...so went to look for an associate for questions myself..and ended up at the check out counter. Even at the busiest of shops you usually get a hello...stood around in line waiting for another 5 to 7 minutes approximately...got looked right in the e... read more

Wonderful Experience After a horrible experience at David's Bridal, I looked at every boutique in Fort Wayne and never found a dress that fit my personality. David's would not even let me look at any dresses without a consultant. I scheduled a time when I could come and meet with a consultant and she was 20 minutes late to my appointment. I was ready to buy, but the consultant was more interested in another client - one with a much larger budget than mine. I walked in to Wendy's and immediately I found my dress. Great service at wendy's! I took my 2 daughters to Wendy's for prom dresses. They had plenty of " in style dresses". The sales lady (Bret) was wonderful!She greeted us at the door and was very helpful with trying on and picking out dresses. Both of my daughters tried on at least 10 different dresses.Brett was very helpful and patient. 1 of my daughters found a dress she really like and my other daughter wasn't sure on a few.
