This place is horrible! Billing irregularities (ahem), particularly with Medicare. Submitted complaint through the whistleblower website. Staff are scammy and pedestrian. Double billing is rampant. Everyone there seems angry.

Wellstar Kennestone hospital practices need to be investigate. They are double billing. They sent a hospital bill and a separate bill from an outside company for the doctor. They even lied saying the insurance company didn't pay so you will have to. Come to find our it was never submitted. Dangerous practices. Close all their doors.

Stay away from Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. Have the ambulance take you anywhere else. It would take way too long to tell how horrible being in Wellstar Kennestone Hospital is.

Went in for heart bypass. They did that and left blood clots almost died they cut me back open and fixed the problem the first doctor left a bleed on one vein also had a stroke in the process. Worst place in Georgia. Stay away form this place.

I was in hospital for artery value replacement. It was suppose to be a simple TAVR that is not open heart surgery. They sent me home next day, and I kept telling them after I went home that I was in severe pain, and my leg was black and blue all the way to my foot. The nurse did not listen and on the 3rd day after I came home i was in so much pain that i went by ambulance to emergency room where iI had to wait over an hour.. So far every single time that I have been to this hospital they are understaffed and have hundreds of patients coming in only to wait to be seen for up to 12 hours. People have bled in front of me personally my blood sugar has dropped. They have no beds and no spaces and yet continue to take more abulatory patients in instead of ending then to the next Hm hospital over . Outstanding new facility, high quality carrying staff, modern technology. Still need to work on scheduling. My son was in ER twice in the last two weeks. they saw him quickly, sent him to X-Ray and then he sat in the lobby 5 hours each time for the results...not goo.

Wellstar Kennestone ER: Outstanding new facilely, highest quality staff, up do date technology. Still some things need improving: My son was in ER twice in two weeks. He was seen quickly. Sent him to xray. Then he sat in the lobby each time for 5 hours before the saw him again....not good

From the time I walked in the door to the the time I was discharged nearly 9 days later this was one of the most miserable experiences of my life. 1. I had a CT scan and some abnormalities came back. Me - What kind of abnormalities? Doctor - Well, we are hoping it's not cancer. There are spots all around your abdomen. Me - Well, thanks for easing into things.
