Terrible billing department. I paid 286$ because I didn't have my insurance card. Then my insurance company paid for the service but they refused to refund me the money. They want to keep the money as a deposit just in case there is a future charge. But when I have new charges, they keeps asking me for money and didn't use the 286$ in my account. I got 660$ bill statment. After I paid 118$, the balance became 816$. This is just a place to rob my money.

I paid $263 prior to being seen at Urgent Care. After treatment, I stopped at the desk to confirm that I was paid up. A month later I got a bill for $263. Maybe all it will take is a phone call, BUT WHY BILL ME WHEN I OWE NOTHING AND WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO PROVE I PAID?

One might think that if a statement says "balance on last statement" that this MIGHT mean that was the balance you were billed on your last statement but you'd be wrong if your looking at a Wellstar statement. If we were not VERY pleased with my wife's doctors I would never do business with Wellstar. If however there is one thing that will drive me away it is the effort it takes to be sure you're not being overbilled.

I have had numerous dealings with Wellstar billing dept. I have had so many problems trying to pay my bills and find out what exactly i owe. I have challenged many over billing issues and have proven all of them. I check every EOB from my insurance with each claim from Wellstar. This year I have had an over billing of over $4800. that I did not owe. I had a refund sent to my husband with someone elses name on it. It took 17 hours of phone calls to rectify it.
