Over the past 2 years, I have received consistently dismissive—at times medically unethical—treatment from several providers within Wellstar--Dr. Kurokawa being one of them. For this reason, I have decided to end my relationship with Wellstar as soon as I am able to find competent, responsive, and trustworthy providers via a different hospital/clinic. Not only have I directly expressed concern, frustration, and feeling unheard and misunderstood to providers, but I had verbally escalated this issue to a clinic supervisor last... read more
This has to be the worst hospital EVER! The staff only does the bare minimum. I had to ask for stool softener, gas pills, and the breathing pump to make sure my lungs were ok after having 2 surgeries back to back because Dr. Furie broke my femur bone while doing a simple hip replacement. The rooms are disgusting and look like a jail cell, the food is not edible, and they don’t even change your lines unless you ask. The people at the nursing stations had attitudes you called to get help. I was so ready to go home I just crie... read more
After everything my daughter went through after be severely harassed by this woman in hospital registration M. Hunter, she had the unmitigated gall to go back to my daughter’s room and call herself checking her after she was obviously reprimanded about my 1st review and demanding and apology to me and my daughter. She went into he room and told her, “LOOK, I WAS JUST TRYNNA HELP YOU!!!! YOU CAN GET DISABILITY AND THEY WILL PAY THESE BILLS FOR YOU. Fortunately my daughter isn’t as big a fool as she thought!!!! Not to mention... read more
The worst hospital I've been to EVER! I went to this hospital for an outpatient procedure. The lady at the registration desk, gave me the directions to were I was scheduled to be. After walking around this hospital my mom and I had no clue where I was supposed to be. As we walked through the halls and passed many doctors/nurses (staff period) NO ONE offered any assistance. No one spoke to us on this journey. Finally we ran into a security officer (Jeremy) who was very helpful. After being instructed to go back to registratio... read more
I've never been treated more poorly. Instead of care and compassion, I received judgment and more pain. After waiting 4 and a half hours with a badly broken face I was seen by a blond woman doctor who demanded to know the name of the table that I broke my face on, pressed hard on the broken part and tried to pull a dermal piercing out of my face. I left with absolutely no treatment and relieved an enormous bill. I attempted to call anyone who may care and recieved double that bill by a medical collection agency. I recommend ... read more
Worst Medical Center Ever!! Nurses don't give you your Insulin, I had to raise hell about my insulin & still didn't get any. Nurses are rude & Ghetto, loud play around, don't see Surgeons after surgery, Transportation & discharge takes hours to Hospital is beyond words. One stars.
Terrible experience. 2 broken arms couldn't use call button, the bathroom, feed self or anything else. 1- 2 hours after food service left meal before anyone came to help. Now billing, despite admitting its error, is turning a bill 117,000 over the correct amount to collection. Patient spoke to billing several times and was promised the bill would be corrected and protected from being sent to collection. If you can avoid Wellstar, don't go there.
Absolute worst hospital experience ever! My 87 year old mother had her Passport, Driver's license and Credit Card stolen somewhere between being admitted to E.R. with subsequent admittance to hospital room. Having not eaten in 12 hours, she requested some vegetarian soup, that never came. Was told she was being discharged at 2pm but was not actually discharged until 9 pm (7 hours later). In addition, 2 hours after discharge, I discover she has a bladder infection that had not been diagnosed or antibiotics provided. Wouldn't ... read more
