RecommendedIt's a hit and miss here like any other hospital. Depends on who you get. I have had rude and I have had the sweetest people. I have had some that make you feel your just annoying, and others that take time out to see how and what you are are feeling. Just depends on the person. I have some that totally understand or TRY to understand what I'm feeling and others that dont even look at you twice. Not every patient is the same. Not every Dr or Nurse is the same. my husband was brought to the er today from work. He was unable to call me himself and asked the nurse to please call his wife. he was told that I was contacted which I WAS NOT!!! I attempted to call twice and was told by the same nurse who assured him she called me he wasn't accepting calls from me! it was a hectic 2 hours before he was able to actually call me himself to find out I was never contacted and knew nothing about his condition. I was sent to get the same lab done twice today and the woman at the reception desk asked me about why I was getting it twice when they already did it earlier that day. She said she wasn't going to do it a second time since it had already been done, but I told her the doctor knew that and sent for another one. She replied with, "okay," as if she was going to proceed with the order. When I got my results back, the lab I was supposed to get again was not done, and I'm very upset. I just left the Emergency room and am impressed with the blatant improvement in Chambersburg hospital since the last time I was there years ago... I used to tell people I wouldn’t take my cat to this hospital but things have changed 100% for the better! I am so thankful to the helpful nurses and knowledgeable doctors. Thank you!
Seriously the best office and doctors ever. Dr O’Brien and Dr Campbell go above and beyond each time I speak with them. We recently had an accident with my 2 year and it landed us in the ER. Dr O’Brien followed him remotely and called when we got home to make sure he was doing well. They truly are amazing!
