I really don't want to give any stars for this office but I must select at least one. As others have stated in previous reviews, the staff is the worst. I switched to Barrera from another doctor because that office was awful, but Barrera was even worse. AND...he is not taking appointments until August but he won't fill out my FMLA forms because he hasn't seen me long enough. I have been a patient of Dr Barrera for over 30 years and I have always received the best care. Dr Barrera and Rolando and the staff has always been wonderful to me and my family. Dr Barrera is a very compassionate and caring person....

At first I thought this doctor office was great , but its not my mom needed to see the doctor and the receptionist refused to give her an updated appointment because of a staff member there ( Angie) not doing her job properly... So the receptionist felt as i was screaming at her , girl if I was screaming is be flicking her off , my voice get high pitched ... like Barrera needs to get new staff members , because these don't want to do thier job

It was a non visit. Arrived 10 minutes early. Had to call in to check in. Left standing outside the office door. No one answered the phone. A worker went in. Said the person answering the phone stepped away. She would check me in. She didn't. After 45 minutes, an elderly woman without a cell phone wanted to go in. I called to check her in. When they answered the phone, asked about my own appointment. The staff said I wasn't checked in and they might be able to work me in. Workers are professional and caring. Followed all protocols for my safety during Coronavirus. Dr. Barrera took his time with me and answered all my questions.

He cares. Listens. He takes time to address and explain all of your issues. Dr.Barrera has a great sense of humor and gives you credit for having knowledge.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Barrera since I was in my 20’s. Every time I needed to see him or one of Pa, the girls would bring me in the same day. If I needed a refill or a referral, the girls take care of it in a timely manner. I’m truly blessed and thankful for the care. (Laughing) He said I make him feel old, because my son is now 20.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Barrera for 20 plus years. He is a down to earth individual and will tell you like it is. He is very thorough and will cover any past and present issues. I had to be admitted to Methodist and he oversaw my care. I see him once every six months for a check up. This man will continue to oversee my health care until I’m six feet under. Suffice to say I highly recommend this doctor.

I have been seeing DR Barrera for a little over one year and he has been very professional with all his advise as well as referring me to other Doctors that I also need to see....He has a very busy schedule and yes sometimes l do have to wait but other than that he is a very good Doctor and does have a Great PA and Staff....I have had no problems in seeing him....Nick Bustamante
