Wellington Rehabilitation facility did not meet our expectations for care. My father was supposed to receive rehabilitation services, but there was no evidence of any therapy during his stay—he remained in bed all day. Despite multiple requests, I never received a treatment plan. Admission paperwork was delayed for nearly two weeks, and communication was inconsistent. My father was placed here after a hip replacement surgery. He came in in great health just needing physical rehabilitation. The PT staff were great and would have been an asset. The NURSING staff were horrendous. Completely unresponsive, off putting and rude. I came to see my father Wednesday evening to eat dinner with him. He was sitting in a wheelchair shaking like he had Parkinson’s, sweating and short of breath. My aunt has been in this facility for several months now. This place is roach infested and the caregivers are totally aware. The nursing staff are "ok", I'm sure there are better at other skilled nursing facilities. I'm trying to relocate my aunt to a better and cleaner facility but the head of facilities at Wellington is dragging her feet not completing the appropriate documents to make this happen.
