On time. Sound diagnosis. Straightforward procedure conducted in office.
Dr. Weiss was very informative about the problem with my finger. What he didn't tell me was that the surgery might not work, other than to keep the finger flexible. I felt rushed into surgery. I paid out of pocket about $7000 (I have a very high deductible plan) for the work and the surgery center, then another $3000 overall for the office visits and work. They gouged me on a 20 second procedure where he basically took pliers and pulled out one of the wires without any other prep. They charged $900 for that, which was about ... read more
Fantastic! I would recommend Dr. Weiss to anyone who needs surgery on their hand. Great staff. The staff at his office and surgical center are wonderful, very caring and kind.
Dr Weiss has performed 3 different surgeries on my hands. Each time he was personal and accurate with the diagnosis and repair. Today he saw me for a knee injury with a one hour notice. Took a lot of time to explain the injury and my options to treat it. He spent about half an hour with me. He is the best!
Dr. Weiss and Jennifer Lo are a great team. The diagnosis was very quick and accurate. They provided useful information as to what to expect if I did the surgery to my left thumb and what to expect if I did nothing. I had the surgery and at 7 weeks I have great movement and range of motion. If anything came up with other parts of my hand etc or other hand I would only contact Dr. Weiss.
My experience with Dr. Weiss and his staff was truly better than I could have imagined. They were caring and gave very clear expectations. They took their time with me at every appointment and even lightened things up with some humor...which really works for me. I felt I as in good hands the entire time and would recommend Dr. Weiss to anyone going through the same circumstance.
