Dr. Arlene is the exceptional case of top notch care and top notch caring. Her technical skills are unmatched. My mother had premenopausal breast cancer in the mid-60s (and lived to 94 - more years post-diagnosis than she lived before the diagnosis). Mom had regular check ups. I have been battling osteopenia and osteoporesis for over 20 years. She was referred to me by the radiologist in my former town. I walked into the office to make an appointment and had copies of all my prior tests. I signed forms for them to pull records from the prior radiologist. I scheduled my 3D mammogram because of the good reviews I read. I waited a month for my appt. I arrived 20 minuets early and was taken back after1 hour. I confirmed with the technician, Brenda, that I was getting a 3D diagnostic mammogram She said "no you are getting a screening mammogram because that is what your GYN ordered. I asked her to check the order and she said "You are right, she did order a diagnostic mammogram. I have been using this office since 1995 after another doctor Scared the living daylights out of me. I can remember the first time I made the appointment how scared I was and how caring the staff was. They done a breast exam a couple different ways and Asked me to stay for the results. She thoroughly examine the radiology exam she took, and called me back To her office, She gave me a big smile and told me everything’s gonna be fine. I do not question the competency at this office, but their scheduling practices are terrible. I left after a 45-minute wait today when I was informed that I was third in line. What should have been 20-minute experience would have taken at least an hour and a half. What makes doctors think their time is worth more than everybody else’s?
