This is a well made product. As far as I can tell, it is accurate on the weight but I haven't really checked it. I would definitely recommend this product.
Order was wrong but they made it right.
I ordered the Weigh Safe aluminum hitch with a 2 5/16" and 2" hitch balls. The hitch was exactly as advertised. It's extremely robust and allows me to position my side-by-side on the trailer in exactly the right spot to give me the optimum hitch weight so that I don't experience undue trailer sway. I also plan to be able to use it for a compact tractor with implements. Thanks Weigh Safe
As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for! That is 100% true with Weigh Safe and their hitches. We have the 12.5K distribution hitch and absolutely love it. Is it a bit more expensive than other subpar hitches? Yes, but what comes with that extra cost is an extremely well built, heavy duty hitch. I found the pre-purchase information on the Weigh Safe website to be accurate for my vehicle. When I picked up my new camper, I was able to adjust the hitch height to provide a level towing trim. A quick visit to a weigh station gave me a true tongue weight which matched the Weigh Safe hitch reading. I can't ask for anything more than that. Great product and company!
