Webeyecare lists false prices for contact lenses that make their site seem to be the least expensive option when scrolling through ****** results. Go on their site, and you'll find any brand of contact lenses for 20 to 30 dollars less per box than major retailers like 1-800-Contacts or Warby ******. Then, they make you fill out all the prescription info and get to the checkout screen, only to find that there is a $170 "processing fee" that magically makes the contacts MORE expensive than leading retailers. I ordered contacts from them on Wednesday, June 18, Order# ********. Called them on Thursday, the 26th and asked why I was charged the full amount instead of part being billed to my insurance. Lady I spoke with assured it would be billed on that Friday. It never happened. Called again today on July 8 and heard the same story that it will for sure be billed today or tomorrow. I'm less than convinced as he kept saying they are just now getting to billing for my particular insurance company a day shy of 3 weeks later. The more ... read more
