Awesome food, awesome waitstaff, awesome service! I was so looking forward to having lunch there as it had been a year and a half since I had been there last (I am visiting from out of state) and was not let down!
Homemade hamburger rolls etc. Very good meal. Breakfast is served all day and their doughnuts are fantastic.
It had been years since I last was there, never disappointed! If your ever in the barre Montpelier area stop in!

We have eaten there many times over the years. Always great food, great staff, quick accurate service, and a comfortable atmosphere.
The Wayside is not what it used to be. I was prepared and understand that the whole belly clams might be sold out. I was not prepared for them switching the New York strip to a couple filets of over cooked stew meat. I won't be coming back.
