Nice ambiance, friendly waitstaff, but we waited waaaaay, waaaaay to long for average food (all around the table). Good beer selection (according to the brother-in-law) though, and prices are good. I'm not walking away saying I'll never return, but not some place I'm dying to get back to.

The food looked amazing, the beer selection is off the charts, but I had a bartender that Thursday that was horrible. He is a tall slender guy with the bushy red or brown beard. When I asked him what cocktail he was making he snapped at me "An old fashion. A disgusting drink that the morons that live in Wisconsin love". I have already spoken to the individual in question and believe me, those words will not be spoken again behind our bar. It is worth noting the bartender you refer to is a lifelong Wisconsinite and has a bit of a sarcastic wit. Obviously, it was way out of control in this instance. We came in last Friday night for dinner. Amazing food, great staff and a very cool atmosphere. I was worried about bringing my 2 young kids but the staff couldn't have been nicer and the food came fast which is a crucial factor of dining with kids!! I'm excited to have this fantastic place in Monona!
