They suck especially the emergency department I will NEVER bring my sick child to this place again
A little over a year ago my 3 day old was admitted for seizures. Last night, his half brother was admitted for the same exact thing. The triage nurse told them that theres no way a 3 day old has an infection in their blood (MY 3 DAY OLD DID) . The infection is what causes these seizures!!! Dont sit there and say that there is no way its possible, when our son's whole entire family has this infection when they are born!!!! My great nephew got admitted and is only 18 months old. He was admitted through ED and the to 5th floor. I am a nurse and this was difficult! I can tell you everyone has been great. Nurses were so attentive and caring. Respiratory therapy was fabulous. CEO came by and saw my niece and her husband! I can truly say the care has been great!! You should be proud of your hospital and employees. EVS and Dietary were so kind. I really did not see anyone that was not kind and smiling and helpful!
I will be dead before I'm seen for my abdominal and groin pain today. No emergent care here!
Just keep driving right on past this place... I would probably just take ur chances and head up to Raleigh... if the ambulance tells you they are unable to take you outside the county... request a transfer as soon as you step foot in the ER and inform them of your EMTALA rights... I promise you won’t regret it... you won’t have to worry about getting a bloodstream infection from a simple IV stick...
