I have seen veterinary clinics treat their patients patient. There is one ICU doctor is very arrogant and does not like to be proven wrong.
Thank you very much to all the doctors, nurses, aides and all the folks in the ER and on the 3rd floor for your wonderful care. It was a scary thing to experience a fib and you all put me at ease and we're so nice to me! I feel like I got excellent care...also to the folks in the ambulance that carried me to the hospital, you were great too!
I have had all three of my babies at Wayne Memorial, and during my last birth in December 2014, the nurse did not call the doctor to tell him I was delivering and stiff handed the babies head that had already been born and tried to shove him back inside of me. I put in a complaint and got back an answer today saying that what she did was acceptable. That is never ever acceptable! I also found out that the same exact thing happened to someone we know who birthed there in October. I would be scared to ever deliver there again.
The staff is very slow to respond to calls. There isn't any real sense of urgency at all. Having to wait over 30 minutes for someone to bring ice to a patient is kinda slow. And that's just for ice... I'm sure the nursing staff would respond to a medical emergency faster. That's not what I'm talking about. But to be honest, the nursing staff does seem spread too thin and over worked at times.

The nursing care, service personnel, meals and dietary service, and all involved in my mother’s recent stay was exceptional. My sister and I stayed in the room with her during her entire stay from January 2 until the 9th except for one night, and the care was consistently given with kindness, courtesy, and reflected genuine concern for her welfare.
