The hospital itself was ok. I just think the visiting period is too short. It should be at least an hour long.
My husband was a patient on the 4th floor /Oncology. Absolutely everyone was kind, helpful, informative and professional. They had smiles on their faces every time they entered his room and always explained what was happening, what the doctor said about the next procedure, when it was going to happen, and ALWAYS asked if we were doing okay, or could they get us anything. Everything went very well. Staff were helpful, efficient and pleasant. Having an adult special needs daughter, we never know what to expect, but she was made very comfortable by the staff. They talked to her, and explained what they were doing, instead of telling us. That's very important that she be told herself, even if she doesn't understand a lot of it. Thank you, Endoscopy staff and Dr. Futch. It couldn't have gone any better!!

Everyone took very good care of me. They were very friendly and attentive to my needs
I was greeted immediately and seated in a spacious waiting room with only a few people waiting to be seen. In no time, I,was,in with the triage nurse, followed by a very short wait and then taken to a space where I received most of my treatments. Nursing care by all was outstanding and efficient. I was taken in as soon as I got there. Stayed there approximately 4 hours. But during that time I was constantly be worked on and or checked on. Very good staff all around. Thank you.
I believe coming from me and my many experiences going to the ED, it all depends on the PA or MD that is working. There are some doctors who are genuine and actually care about patients. While others are very rude, egotistical, and down right mean to you!
I had chest pains last week,went to ER and they immediately took me back. They immediately started running test and admitted me. Stress done next morning. Went home,back yesterday for heart Cath. Everyone frm ER to transportation, doctors,nurses,CNA, xrayy techs, Heart Cath team were all wonderful, compassionate and caring. They found my problem. Thank God that He was in the midst of it all and thank you staff at WMH
