Needed somewhere new to go for waxing now that I moved back from school. I found Waxing the City on Yelp & booked an appointment with Kate K and I've never looked back. The best Brazilian I have ever had, she knows how to make you feel comfortable in a not so comfortable situation and the results were better than I imagined! I came across Waxing the City on Facebook and once I looked over their website I decided I wanted to go. Semelia was the best. She's friendly and made me very comfortable. 50% off the first service was great I've already booked my next appointment.
So recently moved back to the suburbs from the city and was in need of a good esthetician to do my brazilian waxing monthly. Googled a waxing place and found 'Waxing the city oak brook' I was a bit nervous trying a new place, but Justyna was a nice surprise she is wonderful....... very very precise and if you have afro hair you need not to worry she is able to wax you in a way where u wont get bumps or ingrown hairs. I can't even express how amazing this place is. I have gone to numerous places and honestly just didn't go back because it was too painful or the work that was done wasn't impeccable, however at Waxing, the City is the complete opposite. Looked for a place to get rid of my waxing virginity and came across amazing reviews for this place. Didn't really think it would live up to the hype, but I must say it was a five star service from the minute I walked in to the minute I left. The receptionist was super helpful and chatty which alleviated some of my nervousness. Semelina was my cerologist and did an amazing job. This will definitely be my next go-to place for an eyebrow wax! It was close to work and home and everyone was SUPER nice. They explained everything and Justyna was very helpful in making my eyebrows look the way I wanted without butchering them! I love this place :)
