Great place, fast service, excellent food, lots of variety too. Very cool atmosphere. Love the mining displays and pictures. 6 year old son LOVED looking at everything!
I was here recently and there was a 20 minute wait to get a table. So we sat at the bar and waited for our table. Once we were seated in the restaurant, we waited another 45 minutes and nobody even came to our table. We weren't even acknowledged. They were a little busy that evening but nothing over the top. We sat and watched 4 tables be seated after us who also ordered, ate and received their bill before we left. I've been coming here since I was a little kid and have never had such bad service. Amazing atmosphere and food
Started out with a small order of the famous Italian fries and it was the perfect portion for three people to snack on without ruining their meals. I ordered the Miner’s Special with the Gorgonzola butter and it was the best filet tenderloin I’ve had in the Wausau area in a while - and for a very reasonable price, too. Excellent service, our waitress was very attentive and accommodating. They also have a great beer selection! Will be back soon.
What a cool place. Very interesting building and theme. Like being inside an old gold mine. Service and food is fantastic. Definitely my new favorite restaurant. The pizza and Italian fries were great. Can't wait to go back and try the steaks, burgers, burrito and Italian dishes. There's something for everyone in your group.
