I was a first timer since I moved to Wausau and loved it food was amazing and so was the service!
Stopped by after a doctors appointment for lunch and the food was excellent! I loved the look of the whole place inside and out, and our waitress had quite the personality as well. Me and my mom thoroughly enjoyed our visit 😊👍
I was here recently and there was a 20 minute wait to get a table. So we sat at the bar and waited for our table. Once we were seated in the restaurant, we waited another 45 minutes and nobody even came to our table. We weren't even acknowledged. They were a little busy that evening but nothing over the top. Ate here for the first time today. Such a cool setting. We really felt like we were inside a mine. Great service and food. Hope to go back again some day.
Our car club, the Corvettes of the Bay from Green Bay, WI, rolled in with over 25 people. They knew we were coming. The atmosphere was great, the staff was incredibly helpful and happy, and the food was FANTASTIC!!! Thank you very much for taking such good care of us! Will definitely come back!
Amazing atmosphere and food
First time eating at the Wausau Mine Company. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Love the old mine facade/interior theme. I would definitely recommend this place. I conquered the, “I Bet You Can’t”, one pound burger challenge. The burger and kettle chips were great. My girlfriend really enjoyed her salmon sandwich with house sauce and sweet potato fries as well. We will be back!
Started out with a small order of the famous Italian fries and it was the perfect portion for three people to snack on without ruining their meals. I ordered the Miner’s Special with the Gorgonzola butter and it was the best filet tenderloin I’ve had in the Wausau area in a while - and for a very reasonable price, too. Excellent service, our waitress was very attentive and accommodating. They also have a great beer selection! Will be back soon.
