i love the yoga here!!! its a clean and peacful place to practice. It has a nice atmoshpere and great people in the child care department will defitnaly be goig here on a regular basis!
I enjoy going to the Y but this time of year it is extremely hot by the windows. No fans no air. Nasty
Real nice facility with a good deal of amenities. The equipment in the weight room is fairly run down (rubber coming off of a lot of dumbbells for example), but it is used by a lot of people. Over all though for the price of this membership it is definitely worth it. Usually really busy, but haven't come across anyone staff or otherwise that isn't a friendly face. Will be at the Y every night enjoying the facility :)
Love my Barre And Dance Fusion classes at he YMCA, both instructors are so upbeat and fun! Makes going to class 100 times more enjoyable. Thanks Carin and Tanya 💪🏽
I've used the Waukee Y for awhile now. It has everything I use, track, machines & bikes. Have had to get there very early to beat crowds after Jan. first because of the "resolution" folks. This will get better over time. I wish gym "etiquette" was emphasized more.
Suffering from a cold, I wish this 'Y' had a steam & sauna room. However. Good place to workout. This time of year isn't the best as there are to many "resolution'ers" in the way, standing around. Combine that with the jokers fiddling with their phones. It's a pain.
