Living at waters park was a good experience until the final few months. The rent and location are some of the best you will find in Austin and the only reason why I’m giving this review 2 stars. We experienced many pests throughout our one year stay. Ants, a roach every two months. Something I assume is “normal” for old apartments. We signed on for another year. My family of 4 plus 1 sweet pup has enjoyed the neighbors and apartment team. I especially enjoy running into Tyrone, part of the maintenance team here. Tyrone is always smiling, you can't help but smile back. He is everywhere all at once- helping out at the dog park, organizing the trash that doesn't make it into the dumpster, and cleaning up the debris from careless tenants. This place USED to be one of the best, most affordable in Austin! NOT ANYMORE! Ever since "the bridge" took over Waters Park and they changed management around, everything has gone down hill. They added multiple different charges in the last couple years to the monthly dues and continue to raise rent when nothing new has been added to the actual unit I resided in, or the community as a whole. Maintenance and management is wonderful, no matter what time of the day or problem, they are there!
Before the name change, “waters park apartments.” The place really lived up to its name. Within the first month a pipe busted in the bathroom ceiling and completely flooded the whole place. So much water damage. I didn’t have a CEILING my bathroom for 8 MONTHS! Then they raised my rent 100$. When it was finally repaired, I walked in to two foreigners that were about 13 or 14 doing the repairs. Water leaks everywhere. My patio was caving in for years, multiple orders, never repaired.
