My family began vacationing every summer at Water's Edge -- I can't recall what year we started, but it was always the last week of July into the first week of August, we were weekly timeshare holders, had a first floor villa. Our experiences there have always been more than expected. We've been through several name changes as well. Went here for a wedding last year the wedding was beautiful BUT the portions of food were very small..... I got home from the wedding and I was STARVING and the room that we had the reception in was the size of a shoe box and don't even get me started about the dance floor that was the size of a shoe box too everyone that was dancing kept bumming into each other that is how small it actually was. I will NEVER return to this establishment ever again..... Hence my 1* review.
My boyfriend and I were there last year for mother's day...we had brunch. It was my first time there..I loved it.
Wonderful getaway friendly staff and a relaxing couples massage made our stay amazing.
Spectacular brunch buffet. Was here to celebrate a friend's birthday, and all of the staff were attentive and personable even though we were a large and merry bunch...and the view of the sound was amazing.
As a Wyndham Vacation Resort owner I've expected to have more amenities. The unit was missing an oven, more burners, dishwasher, and a washer and dryer. We had a nice view of the Long Island sound.
