Beautiful grounds and a family friendly environment. The other guests is what makes this place great. The front desk is ridiculously rude, and continued to be rude throughout our stay. Housekeeping staff are very accommodating and friendly. The food was terrible and overpriced as well. We come here every year and this year has by far been the worst one yet. Awesome afternoon to have drinks and apps by the shore. The antipasto platter is an absolute steal for $20!
Had an amazing 2 days. Great service, food and ambience. Loved the brunch and the live night music. Looking forward to returning.
Beautiful view and setting. Waitress was awesome! Imagine how shocked I was, though, to spend $10 on a hot dog and have it served on a stale bun! Seriously???
Purchased a night at Waters Edge as a gift for my mother and we were really excited for our stay. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the customer service particularly at the front desk. When we arrived we inquired about the possibility of staying in a water view room which they wouldn’t even entertain. The positives...the grounds are beautiful and many of the staff at the pool and beach were very helpful. The negatives....the front desk staff was not friendly, professional, or accommodating. The pool is not large enough for the number of guests using it. It was full of children who were loud and not monitored...have you considered adding an adults only pool? A lovely spot on the ocean! The Sunday brunch was excellent with a wide array of food sure to please everyone! The dinner show was great, the food not quite as good as the restaurants food. All in all we had a wonderful experience and would definitely go back.
The property is beautiful and we enjoyed ourselves. Had wonderful spa treatments but the service leaves something to be desired. It’s very hard to figure out how everything sort of works. Beach chairs, umbrellas, service at restaurants and the staff seem to be kind of clueless college kids who don’t give straight answers. Once we figured it all out it was fine and we would go back, but for what you pay, service should be a little beefed up. One caveat, service in the main restaurant was fantastic!
