Love the restaurant and the food but the service was extremely slow. Disappointed that it took so long to have our order taken and food delivered when we were only 1 of 4 tables inside at the time.
Horrible. WIth reservations it took us 20 minutes to get seated and two hours to get served dinner.
The menu looks great on line oh but don't be fooled like us.i was served a cold crab cake my son in law had inedible rubbery shrimp on the whole every ones meal was horrible and I am serious.the place is under staffed and over rated.and to top it off tha beer was ant cold yuck!i all ways wanted to go to the watermans now I wonder why so save your money.
We are new westenders, moving from the eastend. We've always loved coming to Watermans as a treat with spectacular views. Our meal was exceptional but.... man the service stunk! We had before dinner drinks but the waitress was in a hurry to take our order. We ordered white wine with our snapper but it was brought out with no way to keep it cool. We were greeted on our way in welcome to Waterman's! The service was wonderful . We had a nice leisure lunch. There was 14 of us. We were taken care of very timely but we were not rushed. The food was really good. Everyone said they had a new place to come back too.
The owner's are causing frequent employee turnover, it's a tough location for the off season to support employees. I live nearby year-round, went to the opening almost 20 years ago, they want to compete with Landry's etc but they're location is inconvenient during the winter season.
