Regarded as being the best seafood restaurant in L.A., the menu has been tweaked by Spago Alum chef Michael Cimarusti. The food here keeps getting even better. American seafood specialties include Maine lobsters and Dungeness crabs fresh from the restaurant's tanks. You can also enjoy the raw bar, hard-to-find fresh fish and New England clam chowder.

East Coast Oysters are difficult to come by in SoCal so I appreciate Water Grill's wide selection. For dinner I had the Wild Mexican White Sea Bass which was excellent. My husband had his favorite, crab legs. We were very happy with the quality of the food, the service, and the ambiance.

It pains me to write this review since I'm a big fan of Watergrill's lunch and dinner menu so this review is of their brunch. We had the crab benedict, lemon ricotta pancakes, cinnamon rolls and a dozen oyster sampler. Watergrill has always had very good and fresh seafood so the oysters were great. The crab benedict was not good at all. The English muffin was doughy; hollandaise almost non-existent so I couldn't taste it; aspargus and spinach bland and overcooked; and poached egg with barely any white. We had the halibut, salmon and clams - all were delicious. We sampled each other plates and will probably order the same dishes but switch who orders it. Fantastic selection on lunch menu. Great lunch atmosphere, comfortable seating and low sound level even when packed.
