**In response to the explanation below... based on the MANY reviews below from people who have had the SAME issue, I call BS. The issue isn't "timing". It's incompetence on the part of your office. In July, I paid a bill IN FULL, and they still sent the account to collections. I received a collection letter in the mail today, so I called Watauga Pathology and they confirmed that they received my payment but could not explain why my account was still sent to collections. got call that I owe money, haven't even heard of this place. Haven't been in TN since like, idek, 10 years ago? never seen a dr in or from TN.

If I could give them no stars I would. They misdiagnosed the type of cancer I have, they claimed it was a relatively benign tumor that does not metastasize. I went to both Vanderbilt and MDACC with the incorrect diagnosis. Weeks after the misdiagnosis by Watauga Pathology, two cancer centers have correctly identified the cancer as a metastatic ESS. When I call the number always getting someone from a foreign country that can’t speak half ass English and I don’t need to discuss nothing with them. I need to talk to somebody in the United States that works at this office to get this bill worked out and Applied to my insurance that’s what’s wrong with USA now everything sent to another damn country !!!!

I was sent a bill for over $2400, I called and they said they had billed my insurance. Well today I have found out that they did not bill my insurance for the remaining amount.
