It's become way too expensive. My husband and I only come to look at the booths and have some food. When just 2 burgers and 1 drink is over $30, it's saddening. I can't even imagine what the rides cost. Wish it would go back to what it was like when it was the Puyallup Fair, not the Washington State Fair.
BEST fair ever. Period. We have been here for 6 days with my daughter showing her horse. Plenty to do, things to see. Super nice people, exciting rides and super clean fairgrounds.
They should have left all alone as the Puyallup fair not the Washington state fair. They ruined it totally.
Expensive, yes, but the fair is GIGANTIC!!! Of course it's going to cost a little money to keep it running! Lol. Lots to see. Tons of activities. I enjoyed it 😁
Every year I tell myself I'm not going this year and every year I get guilted with school provided "free" tickets to go. I remember when I used to enjoy going to the fair. Now all I feel is frustration and irritation with how much everything costs. As if a children's ride is worth the $4 in tickets it costs to ride. Fun fact, one display this year figures inflation for the cost to ride the original wooden roller coaster at $3.05, ironic, considering your crappy kids coaster is $4.
Worst concert ever & I've been to lots. Had to leave early do to shit bags that can't control their beverages. The music was so laud you couldn't make out the words to the songs, the crowd control was a joke! Employees just watched a half dozen drunk guys disrespect others who wanted to enjoy the evening. Most of these drunks were not even in the seats they bought! Others sprayed beer over the crowd. Never saw a cop walk through after the show started. Understand everyone should enjoy them selves however it can be done while... read more
