He lacks listening skills and applying medical knowledge to your problem. He kept talking over me, I was not allowed to explain my problems/complains and he kept saying I am imagining stuff because his medical surveys know better than my complains. I hoped for at least a good advise but I just lost my time here and I don’t think he is practicing for the sake of helping people but rather money or being forced to do it who knows. Caring and comforting, very professional. Love his staff from from the reception desk to his assistance during the procedures. I will always come to Dr. Merlo. Thanks for helping get my teeth functioning again and bringing back my smile!!

I had a circumstance with having a tooth pulled and starting an implant with the same tooth. Of course I was a little worried if this was even possible, but Dr. Merlo's professionalism gave me comfort to know "yes this can be done", with a no worries attitude which allowed me to relax. The office staff are genuinely nice and listen to your concerns and question(s) you may have, from cost to how long a procedure can take. Any future implants for me will all be done by Dr. Merlo!

Dr. Merlo is a competent oral surgeon. He does not, however, have the warmest chairside manner - but most surgeons of any kind do not. His staff makes up for it and I have had nothing but good experiences.
Competent, expeditious, and comprehensive. I would (and have) return for care. Recommend without reservation.
