I was going to let my distaste for this appointment go until I just saw my email: Today, I connected with this psychiatrist today through MDLive, and the experience was extremely disappointing. Despite her profile appearing warm and inviting, her demeanor during the virtual appointment was rather dismissive and disengaged. Dr. Washington has been my psychiatrist for the past couple of years. I had a mental health crisis and she was instrumental in getting better. Unfortunately, my insurance does not cover MDLive anymore so I have to go somewhere else.
I would like to make an appointment, after calling today and last week, still no answer.
I have had a initial appt with Dr.Washington last year , I expected to continue care with her . Having different psychiatrist is not the way to go I like to build report, etc. So fast forward to now I need a follow up visit to discuss somethings and do a medication refill as well. My insurance doesn’t deal with MD Live so I could do an appointment with her but pay out of pocket .
