We were placed in a room outside the main tower. The room was by R. The cleaning company moved into the room next door at 10pm, and the noise disturbed our sleep, even though we had to get up at 1am the next day to get to the airport at 3am. I tried to call the front desk to report it, but no one answered. If R offers you a room, you should definitely refuse. For $500 a night this was overpriced for an average room, charging ports inside the room would not hold a charger, small bathrooms, just not worth the value.
Good rooms, good location. Not actually Georgetown, it's just nearby in West End, which is likely more convenient for most people. Rooms were relatively nice and spacious, especially when compared to other DC hotels. Service is ok. Breakfast staff were very nice. M executive lounge for bonvoy platinum and above members included free breakfast, afternoon snacks, etc. Breakfast was basic eggs, bacon, continental, etc...nothing special there. Worst hotel in the Marriott system! Staff is rude and sent an email to the manager. Never responded back. His grandfather who worked for Marriott for many years would be highly disappointed. I will definitely stay somewhere else in DC. Also I am a Platinum elite and was told since my company was paying for it I wasn’t entitled to the benefit!! I have been a long time Marriott member and will not stay there again!
