Reading all the reviews – I was planning on going to get my hair cut by the Warren-Tricomi Salon but, from what I have read about the job they do in there I will avoid this place like the plague. I want to thank all the customers with horrible experiences because they voiced themselves. I will make sure that I inform all my friends and family not to go to that salon. Money does not grow on trees for this place to charge so much for horrible service.

Best Stylist I've Ever Had!!!!!!!!!!!!! – I have lived in NYC for a long time now and I have been to many hair salons but SCOTT at the Warren Tricomi Salon on 57th St. is without a doubt the BEST STYLIST I'VE EVER HAD!! He is friendly, warm, attentive, caring, asked all the right questions, and always gives me the BEST HAIRCUT!! He asks me what I have in mind and really pays attention & listens to what I'm looking for, makes suggestions, and even shows me how to take care of my hair afterwards. I HIGHLY SUGGEST to anyone loo... read more

going down hill – I have been going to Warren Tricomi for many years and I have to say it has really gone down hill. I get my hair colored there and whenever I leave, I always have roots. I quit having my hair cut there a few years ago because the hairdresser wouldnt do what I wanted and said "that cut wouldnt look good- Ill decide what to do". Many of the stylists/ colorists seem like beginners. Maybe if the price was like $50 it would be okay, but it is way overpriced for what you get.

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! – What a joke! Incredibly rude and honestly just not very talented. I made my first appointment after watching a show on E! I have never been there so I decided that I would try it out however my biggest mistake was trying it out for an important night out! My first instinct to run was with the reception, VERY rude and I had to wait at least 35 minutes (which I could handle, but the reception kept motioning me to move out of the way due to traffic in the salon) Then when I finally was ready t... read more

The best salon ever!!! – It's the best place to get your hair done. It's expensive, but worth every penny. I've been going to Warren Tricomi what seems like my whole life. I've tried many a hairstylist and haircolorist and they are all amazing. The most amazing haircutter to me there right now now is Mark. He is fabulous. He is as talented as he is personable. I adore him. And if you're in need of a some color I highly recommend Yolanda. She is terrific. I' ve never been disappointed with either one of them. NEVER!!!

bad service, rude stylist – My stylist did a very poor job on my hair and was very nasty to me. I was very surprised at the low level of skill and service at the well known salon.

Embarassing and Disgraceful Experience – You know, I hardly ever write bad reviews for anything, but I signed up for citysearch JUST to warn people about Warren Tricomi. I went there before reading the other reviews, and let me tell you, what people have said here is true! My colorist was incredibly snobby and rude- after I told her exactly what I wanted (single color, chocolate brown), she rolled her eyes and said, "No, I'm not doing that. You're getting highlights." After having an argument with her (literally), I decided ... read more

Wonderful experience! – I'm neither a celebrity nor a socialite. I have, however, been having my hair cut in New York for 35 years, and Warren-Tricomi is the best salon I've ever used. Edward Tricomi has been my stylist for over 30 years, and i can't say enough about him. He's professional, he's fun, and he's a great stylist. I always get compliments on my cut wherever I go. The staff at W-T is equally pleasant and professional - from Angela and Lynn at the front desk to the assistants to the people who staff the changing ro... read more

Midtown's go-to place for solid salon services. – The Space Founded in 1996 by colorist Joel Warren, stylist Edward Tricomi and nail care specialist Roxana Pintilie, this salon is regularly featured on TV and exalted in fashion magazines. Done-up in moody Moroccan Gothic decor (think lots of gilded mirrors, rich fabrics and wrought-iron), the large space bustles with a steady stream of clients. The vibe is coolly friendly and fabulous; clients range from suburban regulars and splurging tourists to famous fans like Kate Becki... read more
