We took our Honda push mower, which we bought last year at Lowe’s, in for service before starting the mowing season. The rep told us that since we did not buy our mower there, we would need to bring it back in “about10weeks and it will take another 5 weeks “ before it would be ready for pick up. We brought the mower home thinking we had misunderstood where Lowe’s recommends their mowers be repaired. Took a pressure washer in for service in June, told it would be 6 weeks. 8 weeks later had not heard anything. Called and was told they would be getting to it that week. 2 weeks later finally called and told us they could not find anything wrong with it. If you are that backed up don't accept anymore service tickets. 10 weeks is beyond ridiculous. Charged us a small fee but we should have charged them for the 10 weeks they had it. Never will use them again.
They need customer service so badly, that it makes one cry.
Bought a Toro self propelled mower new that had a 3 year warranty.After 2 years it started cutting out on hills.Contacted Toro customer service and they advised to take it to Warranty One for repair. Took the mower ,paperwork and receipt,the repair tech started it up and said it is a fuel issue not covered by warranty,we will have to charge you.I said No. I took the mower home and took off the motor cover.A spring had come loose from the Governor, and I reattached it and it now works great. Terrible at customer service. Service manager is complete jerk. Was told I would authorize all services done on my mower. Quoted a price. When pay time comes the price jumped because they did things I did not authorize and would not hear me out. Just kept repeating himself like an immature child. DO NOT trust them at all.
