In Monroe's historic downtown, you'll find Warehouse No 1. Restaurant. Our family-owned spot has been serving the community authentic Louisiana cuisine since we opened back in 1980. We're known for our award-winning food and scenic overlook of the Ouachita River. It's this combination that's kept families coming back year after year. I has salmon with jalapeño cheese grits. Loved it.
Atmosphere was fantastic & the food was impeccable. I got the catfish platter (blackened) and it came with hush puppies, a house salad, rice pilaf and two catfish filets. It was a lot of food for the price. Also tried the margatini.. it was good but didn’t have much alcohol in it. And their key lime pie was to die for! Will definitely be going back!
Excellent... always has been!!! A “must” when we are home. Our first date was here 33 years ago!
I want publicly thank the chef and Justin( waiter). First Justin was amazing he was taking care all by himself of our table which had 20 people. It was our anniversary I called made reservations and I ask to be sure that we were not seated near a large group because of the noise! Hostess assured me she would have us in a quiet area! We arrived and was showed to our table right next to a long table with 20 chairs at least! Our server could barely get to us! He was nice and did an okay job! Beautiful Friday lunch on the deck, crab cakes are delicious, service was excellent. Thanks for great atmosphere...My husband is bearded, tattooed and we felt no judgement...it is nice to be treated with hospitality and acceptance...highly recommend for great food
Had a wonderful dinner 3-3-2018 to celebrate 2 birthdays. Waiter was very good and polite. Food was good and we didn’t feel rushed. The birthday dessert was beautiful with each person’s name written on their plate.
Service is great (we love our server, Lonnie) and food was superb!
