In Monroe's historic downtown, you'll find Warehouse No 1. Restaurant. Our family-owned spot has been serving the community authentic Louisiana cuisine since we opened back in 1980. We're known for our award-winning food and scenic overlook of the Ouachita River. It's this combination that's kept families coming back year after year. Lunch today at The Warehouse Restaurant was superb! My friend, Ellen Nordman and I were celebrating Ellen’s birthday. Our server, Dennis, was THE BEST!! He anticipated everything we could possibly need or want! The food was excellent, as always! We even had our picture taken with complimentary birthday cheesecake and they printed the picture for Ellen’s birthday too! I want to thank The Warehouse chef and staff for making our celebration perfect! Anyone dining there should ask for Dennis! You will be so happy you did!

Place is solid, good cocktails, clean upscale decor, great service, food is spot on for the most part. The only thing I have not liked is the gumbo. I keep coming back, this restaurant is obviously well managed!!

Highlight of an almost 2 week tour of the Midwest and Southeast was dinner at Warehouse Number 1! Great service and the food was incredible. Had the surf & turf. Wife had the jalapeño cheese grits and crab cakes. Both were incredible and were cooked to perfection. Key Lime pie for dessert! Couldn't be beat! Hoping to have occasion to come back through Monroe in the future and will definitely be stopping again if we do!
Took a friend that had never been there. We both got the RibEye Poboys & it was awesome! Staff is very attentive. Tip them nicely if u can.....
