Ware Chevrolet was going to charge me $4800 for timing chains on my ***** Equinox. Local mechanic charged me $1700. Dealership said 22 hours @ $140 hour. Thats $2800. Wow. My mechanic said it was 11 hours. Ware Chevrolet said that the parts were $2100. My mechanic said $600. What really made me upset was that they charged me $800 restocking fee for the parts.
